Hampshire police are appealing for witnesses following a reported altercation and criminal damage in Chandler’s Ford last week.
The incident took place around 10am on Friday, 29 August, in the Asda car park on Bournemouth Road. Officers say two men became involved in a verbal dispute, which escalated when the rear window of a vehicle was smashed with a bike chain.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have captured the altercation on mobile phones or dash cams.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear anything, or do you have footage that could assist our investigation?”
