Hampshire Police are appealing for help to identify a man they wish to speak to following a reported theft of a Henry Hoover high-powered vacuum from Sainsbury’s on Tollbar Way, Hedge End.
The incident took place between 3.05pm and 3.15pm on Thursday, 28 August. During this time, a Henry Hoover vacuum cleaner, valued at £180, was stolen from the store.
Officers are keen to speak to a man described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, in his early 30s, of medium build, with short black hair, a beard, and a moustache. Notably, he has tattoos on his neck and hand. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black baseball cap, a black hooded top, a black gilet, black jeans, and black and white high-top trainers.
Images of the man have been released, and police believe he may have information vital to their investigation. They are urging the man himself, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area is also encouraged to get in touch. Police are particularly interested in hearing from people who may have CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage from the vicinity at the time.
